Cop turned actor, director, producer turned politician B.C. Patil’s the sitting MLA come back film after ‘Jogula’ made five years ago – ‘Salute’ a life sketch of BC Patil – a nexus between Politician and Police in the film is hitting the screen on August 14. As of now on Wednesday afternoon at Bowring Institute in Bangalore the audio CD of the film brought out by Lahari Recording Company was released by well known producer and hotelier Basanthkumar Patil.

Patil an MLA of two terms to the State legislative Assembly promised on the audio release day that he would seriously take up the issue of Anti Goonda Act introduction in the state to tackle the piracy. On his come back after five years BC Patil has noticed 10 times increase in the expenditure of film making. From this ‘Salute’ Kannada film industry would find four new faces said confident Patil.

Sai Krishna of Hyderabad has made debut to Kannada cinema as music director from ‘Salute’. He has scored tunes for five songs. Earlier to audio release Lahari Recording Company proprietor Velu felt the need of tackling piracy completely in the state. Velu thanked Dr. Vishnuvardhana and Ramesh Aravind who took up the issue of piracy to the police department in Mysore recently.

Noted producers Basanthkumar Patil, Vijayakumar, financier KV Nagesh Kumar were present at the audio release.
